About the Role

We’re seeking a reliable and proactive Op Shop Furniture & Delivery Driver to join our team at the Wacol Animal Care Campus. You’ll be responsible for:

• Safely collecting donated furniture from homes and businesses.

• Delivering goods to our Op Shops across Brisbane.

• Delivering purchased goods to our customers.

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of items.

• Providing excellent customer service to our generous donors and shop teams.

• Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, including supervising and training others.

• Embrace and promote a proactive safety culture, participating in all safety initiatives.

• Represent the RSPCA QLD with positivity, enthusiasm and professionalism.

Who are we looking for?

• A current manual driver’s licence (LR and above preferred but not essential)

• An ability to work autonomously and use initiative.

• Previous experience in furniture removal or delivery.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.

• A passion for animal welfare and supporting charity work.

• Be punctual and hardworking.

There are multiple casual roles available, based at the Wacol Animal Care Campus. Remuneration is as per the General Retail Industry Award banded from $26.18 to $33.00 per hour commensurate with skills and qualifications.

Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a National Police Clearance check and a driving assessment.
